Inspiration:
This original watercolor “Headed Home, Chinook Salmon” was inspired by my love and admiration for this anadromous fish. It was a fun challenge to paint the colors and textures of the scars on this strong swimmer — gained from its journey upstream from the ocean to its home river to spawn.
