Inspiration:
This original watercolor “Ruby Red Peony” was inspired by the first flowers of June in my backyard. Small black ants work to help open the early Peony flowers. Using my photographs and memories of garden moments, I painted this Peony from a vase and additional photos in my studio to capture the rich ruby red bloom.

Description:
Original art of my “Ruby Peony” watercolor painting.  Unmated, Unframed. Painted with light fast, transparent watercolor paint on 200lb Baohong Artists Grade rough natural white 140lb cold press paper (heavy, cotton rag, acid free).

Frame Recommendation:
3″ wide 100% archival “natural white mat” (all around painting) with 19″ x 25″ with 2″ wide frame. Properly framed under UV plexiglass or UV glass, this painting will last for generations.

Shipping:
Shipping will include tracking, insurance, and signature delivery confirmation. Your painting will be well packaged and protected and will be shipped flat. Shipped Priority mail. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.
